The Course: Although there’s a pristine tarmac start straight, riders can expect plenty of mud throughout the rest of the course, with some cambers, stiff climbs, woodland and a set of wooden steps. To prosper, you’ll need to be confident and speedy off your bike as well as on.

Shibden CC: The host club is based close to Shibden Hall, made famous in recent years by the historical drama television series Gentleman Jack, which tells the story of landowner and industrialist Anne Lister. The club runs events under the “No-Nonsense” banner, highlighting their value-for-money approach, focusing on the enjoyment and experience of participants.
